Charlotte's Staggette

I thought I should get some pictures up from Charlotte's stagette, as the wedding pics are en route and I am so majorly behind on blogging. 

The evening started at Cardero's Restaurant in Vancouver...Eighteen of Char's closest friends (and new family) gathered to begin her special night with champagne and oysters... From there we took a big limo bus for a drive around the city and headed to Black & Blue for a delicious dinner. After a couple hours of whining and dining we all jumped in cabs and made our way over to Charles Bar in Gas Town... We all hit the dance floor and partied the night away! It was a great night- thanks to all the ladies who made it out for my gorgeous sister xox

Echo Valley Ranch

Last month Troy and I took some much needed time away from the city and visited Echo Valley Ranch in Clinton, BC (5 hour drive from Vancouver). The ranch was an unbelievable fusion of rustic country living and Thai influence. We galloped on some horses, ran into cattle, turkeys, dogs and cats, as well as took advantage of the Thai Spa with a Spicy Rice Rub.

After two nights surrounded by open country, we drove the remaining 4 hours to Prince George for a visit with Troy's family. There was lots to celebrate-  Troy's sister Jenn recently got engaged to her boyfriend Bree and Doug celebrated his 65th Birthday!
